Gustafer Yellowgold is a friendly creature who came to Earth from the sun. He has a knack for making friends with some of Earth's odder creatures.

Gustafer was created by Morgan Taylor. Taylor has played with artists such as Bob Dylan, Wilco, and Natalie Merchant. Taylor began drawing Gustafer Yellowgold in winter 2004. He and his band have toured all over the world.

Since his creation in 2005, Gustafer Yellowgold has become an international phenomenon. The New York Times says “The show is a cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Dr. Seuss.”
