Lauren Bedosky

Staff Writer Lauren Bedosky is a senior at the University of Minnesota, studying both English and Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies (GWSS). After graduation, she hopes to work in a field where she can put her writing skills toward social justice issues. As a volunteer Staff Writer at Rainbow Rumpus, Lauren hopes to gain experience writing for and about kids whose families are considered nontraditional by society’s standards. A Minnesota native, Lauren grew up in suburban Plymouth before living in Northeast Minneapolis for a couple of years. Now, she once again lives in her childhood home, kept company by three cats, two dogs, two parents, and one fiancé. When she’s not writing essays or reading for school, Lauren spends her time exercising, painting, and working on a novel.
