We have been very busy at Rainbow Rumpus this spring.

As you may have noticed, we have a beautiful new logo. Our old rainbow logo is a dear friend, but it was time for a change. Our new logo retains our colorful image. Instead of a rainbow, it features a library of books. This logo shows that our stories are of literary and lasting quality. Our website is the largest and most accessible library of stories that feature LGBT-headed families in the world. A big thank you to Leo Burnett agency for their pro bono work designing the logo.

We are beta testing a new website. You can see our new and improved design by simply going to www.rainbowrumpus.com. This website is easier to access and search. Go ahead, visit it on your phone or tablet. The website also features our beautiful original illustrations bigger than ever. Let us know what you think by clicking “support” in the top menu and sending us an email.

We say goodbye to our longtime editor-in-chief, Beth Wallace. Beth was editor-in-chief since the beginning of Rainbow Rumpus. Simply put, Rainbow Rumpus wouldn’t be what it is today without her. She is leaving to focus on her position as the executive director of Everybody Wins! Vermont and we wish her the best.

We welcome Liane Bonin Starr as our new editor-in-chief. Liane brings much experience, skill, and passion to this position and we are excited to see her work in the coming year and beyond.

Sincerely,

Cindy Janovitz
